Jewel Smoak Craft, 84, of Manning, S.C., widow of Billy Joe Craft Sr., died Wednesday, May 2, 2012, at Lake Marion Nursing Facility.
Born June 10, 1927, in Lamar, S.C., she was the daughter of the late Thurman Smoak and the late Jewel Thresa Lane Smoak.
She was a founding member of Good Shepherd Baptist Church and a founding member of Manning Prayer Breakfast Group.
She is survived by two daughters, Adona Craft Joseph (George) of Manning and Ramona Craft Johnson (Bill) of Georgetown; a brother, Rev. John Allen Humphries of Louisville, Kent.; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son, Billy Joe Craft Jr.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 5, 2012, at Good Shepherd Baptist Church with Reverend Esta Gilley officiating. Burial will follow in Clarendon Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday evening at Stephens Funeral Home in Manning and other times at the home of her daughter, 609 Robson St., Manning.

Anna B. Grant, 73 of the Sampit Community, Georgetown, S.C., died Tuesday, April 25, 2012 Georgetown Memorial Hospital, Georgetown, S.C.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. on Monday, April 30, 2012 at St. Paul AME Church, Sampit Community, Georgetown, S.C.
Burial followed in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Grant was born November 23, 1938 in Georgetown County, S.C. to Benjamin Knowlin and Florence Davis Knowlin.
She worked as a farmer.
She was a member of St. Paul AME Church since youth.
Survivors include her husband, Luther Buster Grant of Trio, S.C.; her son, Grover Knowlin; six daughters, Belinda Smith, Latrice Grant, Catina Grant, Erica Grant, Margo Lewis and Angel Grant; six sisters, Mary F. White, Vera Davis, Linny Gasque, Sabrina Randolph, Shirley Davis and Carolyn Knowlin; three brothers, Richard Knowlin, Rev. Joe N. Knowlin and Darryl Knowlin; 27 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service arrangements were entrusted to Wilds Funeral Home.
Danny Lucas, 64, of Georgetown, S.C. died Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at East Cooper Hospital, Mt. Pleasant, S.C.
Funeral services for Mr. Lucas will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, May 6, 2012 at Dickerson AME Church, Georgetown, S.C.
Burial will follow in Greater St. Stephen AME Church Cemetery.
Mr. Lucas was born on April 16, 1948 in Georgetown County, S.C. to Raymond Washington and Mrs. Deloris Lucus Washington.
He attended Georgetown County public schools and graduated from Howard High School.
He was a member of Greater St. Stephen AME Church and a retired U.S. Army serviceman.
Survivors include his parents, Raymond Washington and Deloris L. Washington of Georgetown, S.C.; his sister, Delores Geiger of Cameron, S.C.; two brothers, Wendel Lucas Washington of Jacksonville, Fla. and Earnest Washington of North Charleston, S.C.
