Elizabeth G. Moultrie of Maryland, formerly of Georgetown, S.C.
Lois Roberts Barnes, 64, of Georgetown, S.C. died Thursday, March 14, 2013, at Georgetown Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Barnes was born in Charlottesville, Va. on April 26, 1948, a daughter of the late John Samuel Roberts and Lizzie Ann Shifflett Roberts.
She was employed at Carver’s Bay Store for approximately 10 years, where her customers were her family.
Mrs. Barnes was a loving wife, mother, and nana and enjoyed cooking, spending time with her family and friends, and shopping.
Surviving are her husband, Leroy “Buddy” Barnes of Georgetown; two sons, Henry Barnes (Lisa) of Georgetown and Tommy Barnes (Marie) of Rhems; a daughter, Holly Barnes Andriaschko (Nik) of Hanahan; nine grandchildren, Christopher, Garrett, Kaitlyn, Madison, Hanna and Owen Barnes, Tony McRae, and Kody and Kyle Andriaschko; two sisters, Darlene McKrush and Barb Romanowski; and a brother, Sam Roberts.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Barnes was predeceased by two brothers, John Roberts, Jr. and Wayne Roberts; and a sister, Sharlene Roberts.
Memorial services were held at 2 p.m. on Monday afternoon, March 18, 2013, at Liberty Southern Christian Assembly in Hemingway.
Officiating was the Rev. Scott Stone.
Friends called at the residence of Marie and Tommy Barnes at 194 Fieldcrest Rd. in Georgetown.

Cecil Casselman Sr.
Cecil David Casselman Sr., 68, of Manning, S.C., husband of Elaine Alsbrook Casselman, died Wednesday, March 13, 2013, at Clarendon Memorial Hospital.
Born January 12, 1945, in Andrews, he was the son of the late Cecil Casselman and the late Lois Mixon Casselman.
He was the owner and operator of Casselman Logging for over 25 years, and a lifelong mechanic.
He is survived by his wife of Manning; three sons, Cecil David Casselman Jr. of Manning, Dana Shuan Casselman of Sacramento, Calif., and Layne Drew Casselman (Tiffany) of Hartsville, S.C,; a daughter, Kara Casselman Ramirez (Michael) of Manning; a brother, Clancy Casselman of Georgetown; three sisters, Gwendolyn Casselman and Becky Bouye, both of Columbia, and Orabell Griffin (Billy) of Andrews; a grandson, Blayne Lee Casselman; a sister-in-law, Marie Casselman; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Reginald L. Casselman.
A funeral service was held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 16, 2013, in the chapel of Stephens Funeral Home, with Rev. James Beck officiating.
Visitation was one hour prior to the service on Saturday at Stephens Funeral Home and other times at the residence, 2086 Bethlehem Rd., Manning, SC.

Arthur Gilman Jr.
Arthur Prescott Gilman Jr. of Georgetown, S.C., age 84, died Thursday, March 14, 2013, at Georgetown Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Gilman was born in Boston, Mass. on May 14, 1928, a son of the late Arthur Prescott Gilman Sr. and Josephine Fraser Mackenzie Gilman.
He graduated from Rutgers University and served in Korea in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Mr. Gilman was retired from Rigby Electric.
He was a member of All Saints Church and more recently attended Mission Pawleys.
He was very active in his church, and was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
Surviving are his wife, Nancy Taylor Gilman of Georgetown; two daughters, Gayle Mone (Bob) of West Tisbury, Mass. and Diane Boyd (Alton) of Kingstree, S.C.; four grandchildren, Jonathan Mone (Joanna), Laura Rowland (Matt), Amy St. John (Clay), and Adam Boyd; one great-grandchild, Emily Claire Rowland; a brother, Roderick Gilman (Carol); and his mother-in-law, Marguerite Boyd Taylor.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Gilman was predeceased by his wife, Catherine W. Gilman; a sister, Roberta Meader; and a grandson, Ryan Prescott Mone.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Monday morning, March 18, 2013, at All Saint’s Church in Pawleys Island, S.C.
Officiating was the Rt. Rev. Charles Murphy.
Burial took place prior to the service at All Saint’s Cemetery at 10:15 a.m.
The family received friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, March 17, 2013 at the Georgetown Chapel of Mayer Funeral Home.
