Sidney Amerson
Sidney Andrew Amerson, 19, passed away on Saturday, December 8, 2012.
Born on August 9, 1993, in Georgetown, he was a son of Michael Thomas Amerson and Anna Sanders Amerson.
Sidney was a member of Saints Delight Pentecostal Holiness Church where he played the drums.
He lived life to the fullest and enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing sports, playing the drums and working.
He was loved by all who knew him and will be dearly missed.
Survivors include his mother, Anna S. Amerson (Travis Sanders) and father, Michael T. Amerson (Alicia Amerson) of Georgetown; a brother, Michael T. Amerson II (Jennifer Amerson) of Georgetown; maternal grandparents, Margaret and Richard Sanders of Andrews; paternal grandparents, Patricia and David McKenzie of Andrews; a nephew, William Amerson of Georgetown; three aunts, Jennifer Sorcabal (Bob) of Sierra Madre, Calif., Terry Martin (Ricky) of Conway, S.C. and Julie Ann Amerson of Kingstree, S.C.; two uncles, Richard Sanders Jr. of Andrews and Reggie Amerson (Pam) of Georgetown; a special cousin, William D. Amerson Jr. of Georgetown; and a number of other cousins and special family members.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, William T. Amerson; and an uncle, William D. Amerson.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at Saint’s Delights Pentecostal Holiness Church, with the Rev. Chris Browder officiating.
Burial will follow in the Lambert Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday at Saint’s Delight Pentecostal Holiness Church.
