The Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing man from the Pleasant Hill Community of Georgetown County.

It was initially reported to Georgetown County Sheriff’s Deputies that William Taylor was an Alzheimer patient.  As sheriff’s deputies searched for the missing man and followed up on his condition, it was determined that Mr. Taylor has medical issues, but he does not have Alzheimer’s.  There is no information to believe that Mr. Taylor is an immediate threat or danger to himself or others.  

The missing man was last seen on Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at 12:30 p.m. near the intersection of County Line Road and Choppee Road in Georgetown County.  The missing man is William Taylor, 49 years of age, of 224 Ward Loop in the Pleasant Hill Community of Georgetown County.  Mr. Taylor is described as a black male who is 5’06” in height and weighing 180 pounds.  Mr. Taylor was last seen wearing blue jeans, a black and blue jacket, a black hat, and blue and white tennis shoes.  

Georgetown County Sheriff’s Deputies are continuing their search for Mr. Taylor.  Anyone who knows of Mr. Taylor’s whereabouts or has any information regarding him is urged to call the Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office at (843) 546-5101.
