Walk to School Day
Published Friday, October 05, 2012 6:04 AM
Students at Kensington Elementary School participated in
International Walk to School Day on Wednesday. The students walked
around the school’s car rider loop during their “special area time.”
Each ten laps they walked equaled one mile. According to organization’s
Web site, the Walk is held to promote various things such as safer and
improved streets, promoting healthier habits and to conserve the
environment.
