Teen charged after Sampit stabbing

A female has been arrested and a man was rushed to the hospital after a stabbing in the Sampit Community this morning
The incident happened a little before noon in the 700 block of Powell Road.
According to reports,the man was stabbed in the back. He was transported to the hospital in a personal vehicle with a deputy escorting part of the way.
The man's injury is not life threatening, said Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Carrie Cuthbertson.
She said a 16-year-old female was arrested and has been charged with attempted murder.
Because of her age, her name has not been released.
The name of the victim has also not been released but Cuthbertson said the two are related.
