The Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a burglary at a condominium complex in the Murrells Inlet Community of Georgetown County. Georgetown County Sheriff’s Investigators are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the responsible suspect from a surveillance video.

On June 2, deputies responded to a condominium at 1501 South Waccamaw Drive where between the hours of 12:15-1:30 p.m. a suspect forced entry into a room and stole some items from the purses of two (2) victims. After investigating all of the other condominiums on that floor, it appeared there were no other condominiums burglarized.

After reviewing the surveillance video, Georgetown County Sheriff’s Investigators are looking for a white male suspect, described as 5’10” to 6’0” and approximately 220 pounds. The suspect appears to be in his early 30’s with a goatee or mustache.
