Man dies one day after traffic accident

A one vehicle accident that occurred Monday claimed the life of man.
The accident happened on Johnson Road, which is off of Brick Chimney Road, when the driver of a 1988 GMC lost control of the vehicle, ran in a ditch, hit a telephone pole and overturned, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
The victim was rushed to the Medical University of South Carolina where he died Tuesday afternoon.
His identity was not available from the Coroner’s Office Tuesday evening.
