At least one seriously hurt in Yauhannah accident

EMS and fire officials work to free a victim
One person was transported by
helicopter for emergency care after at least two vehicles collided
Monday afternoon.
The accident happened on Highway 701, near the Yauhannah Bridge, at
the Horry and Georgetown County line.
A dump truck and another vehicle were involved in the accident, which
happened shortly after 3:00 p.m. At about 6 p.m., traffic started moving again.
It took nearly two hours to remove the seriously injured patient from the vehicle.
