Accident knocks out power for parts of Pawleys Island

A traffic accident has caused a power outage over parts of Pawleys Island.
Pawleys Island police say vehicle struck a power pole at Myrtle Avenue and the Causeway. Power will be out until Santee Cooper can replace the pole.
The power outage is impacting the northern area of the island.
