Teen shot in the foot in Maryville

The Georgetown Police are investigating a shooting that occurred on Daisy Street in Georgetown at approximately 8:30 pm this evening. A 15 year old male accidentally shot himself in his right foot with a 30-30 hunting rifle. He was transported to Georgetown Memorial Hospital and treated. He was at home with his younger sister when the shooting occurred. The case is under investigation and no charges have been filed at this time. The juvenile is a student at the Georgetown High School.
