Man says he was robbed of meds and $20 at Food Lion

Georgetown police are looking for a person who reportedly robbed an individual in the parking lot of the Maryville Food Lion this morning.

Police Capt. Nelson Brown said it happened a little past 10 a.m.

He said the male victim told police he was in his vehicle next to the store taking pain medication when man wearing a hoodie and had a scarf over his face approached the car.

The victim says the man took the medicine and $20 from him and fled the area. There were no injuries.

A search was conducted but the suspect has not been located.
