David Joseph Laine, age 40, of Pawley Island, S.C.

FUNERAL SERVICES

James Bracy

James Matthew Bracy, 85, husband of Maggie Bracy, passed away Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at Tidelands Community Hospice House.

Born on October 11, 1927 in Roxboro, N.C., he was a son of the late Doc Bracy and Erma Bracy.

He was a member of United Christian Outreach.

Survivors include his wife of Georgetown; five children, James Bracy Jr., Micheal Bracy, Nellie Olin, Thomas Bracy and David Bracy; nine grandchildren, Eddie Bracy, Patty Smith, Joey Bracy, Gordan Dickerson Jr., Gabriel Dickerson, Thomas Bracy Jr., Kristen Bracy, Joe Bracy and Brittney Bracy.

He was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Micheal Bracy Jr. and Shawn Reddick.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, November 30, 2012 at United Christian Outreach with the Rev. Timothy Crabtree officiating.

Burial will follow in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens.

The family received friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, November 29, 2012 at Graham Funeral Home.

Zeb Ford Jr.

Zeb Ford Jr., 62, of the Annie Village Community, Georgetown, S.C., and formerly of the Dunbar Community, Georgetown, S.C., died on Saturday, November 24, 2012 at Georgetown Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Ford was the son of the late Zeb Ford Sr. and Mrs. Argeno Smith Ford.

He was the husband of Mrs. Bertha ‘Jeanette’ Davis Ford.

Mr. Ford is survived by his wife, Mrs. Bertha “ Jeanette” Davis Ford; three daughters, Ms. Shenise Ford of Orangeburg, S.C., Ms. Katisha Ford of Georgetown, S.C., and Ms. Regina Ford of Columbia, S.C.; one son, Mr. Damon Grate of Hemingway, S.C.; five sisters, Mrs. Betties Guiles and Minnie Rice, both of the Dunbar Community, Mrs. Ruby Greene of New Britain, Conn., Mrs. Zelma Grant of Rochester, N.Y., and Mrs. Lamina Ford of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; one brother, Mr. Rigdon “Rickey” Ford Sr. of Georgetown, S.C.; and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, November 30, 2012 at Mt. Olive Baptist Church in the Dunbar Community, Georgetown, S.C.

Rev. Dr. Eddie Gamble Jr. will be officiating.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The remains will lie in state in the sanctuary of the church from 11 a.m. until the hour of service.

Viewing was held from 3 to 5 p.m. on Thursday, November 29, 2012 at Linen-Knox Funeral Home.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Linen-Knox Funeral Home.
