Georgetown High School's swim wrapped up its inaugural season setting marks for Bulldogs swimmers to try and beat for years to come.
This year's relay records:
Individual medley, Taylor McConnell, Catherine Condon, Virginia Huntsinger, Chrissie Wall (2:23.29) and Andrew Gwinn, Caleb Freyer, Joseph Bailey, Dylan Visbaras (2:48.60); free, Condon, Wall, McConnell, Abigail Pagett (2:09.11) and Freyer, Visbaras, Bailey, Gwinn (2:27.94).
This year's individual records:
50 free, Bailey (26.70) and Wall (30.02); 100 free, Freyer (1:14.07) and Condon (1:09.16); 100 butterfly, Bailey (1:26.79) and Wall (1:18.47); 100 backstroke, Bailey (1:17.59) and Wall (1:20.44); 100 breaststroke, Huntsinger (1:31.62) and Visbaras (2:04.37); 200 individual medley, Pagett (3:09.04).
In the Region VII-AAA tournament, several Bulldogs placed in the top 10: Wall was seventh in the 50 free and fifth in the 100 butterfly; Condon was seventh in the 100 free; and Bailey was ninth in the 100 backstroke.
Bailey, Wall and Vibaras all st school records at the Carolina Forest Invitational on Sept. 27. The Leadership Awards went to Freyer and Wall and the Bulldogs of the day Kara Casselman and Darrien Gardner.
The boys relay team set two school records at the Myrtle Beach Invitational on Sept. 15.
Pagett, Visbaras, Bailey and Condon also set individual records.
Bulldogs of the day were Pagett and Visbaras. The Leadership Awards went to Bailey and Condon.
