Georgetown County Water and Sewer District (GCWSD) is seeking applicants for the following position: CONSTRUCTION TECHNICIAN Responsible for the construction and repair of water and sewer lines. Duties include installation and repair of water and sewer lines, installing and repairing meters, taps, and fire hydrants, and repair of wet wells and manholes. Operates light and heavy equipment including backhoes, trackhoes, and low boy trailers. Must be able to perform heavy manual tasks for extended periods of time. Required education and experience include a high school diploma or equivalent, a minimum of one year related work experience, and a valid SC Commercial Driver's License "A" with airbrake and 30,000 lb. trailer endorsement.
